    1. Haden totally makes this book for me he s downright delicious D That plus the lengths Bree goes to in weaving so many myths together in such a complex way is amazing A great end to the series

    2. 5 Stars Really satisfying ending to the Into the Dark trilogy, with the characteristically Bree Despain open end that could lead to another book or just keep reader s minds going back to the characters and thinking What are they up to now All of the characters are solid in this, but of course, the secondary ones do take a back seat throughout the book, and the main story revolves around Daphne and Haden to be frank, I m not sure why the Tobin POV was left in, he only gets a handful of chapters, [...]

    3. At the end of The Immortal Throne, Ms Despain has a note that mentions how, thanks to the closing of her publishing house, the final section of Daphne and Haden s story may have never been published I am so thankful for Carolrhoda Lab for picking up the series and allowing the fans to find out what happens To never find out would have been a tragedy because their story is so much fun.The Immortal Throne picks up right where the previous book ended While Ms Despain does try to connect the two by [...]

    4. What a great book So hooking Definitely had some tear jerking parts but the ending was actually really good I cannot believe that this series has come to an end I was really able to connect with the characters and get to know them over this trilogy Haden Lord is such a wonderful character and has a great personality Now can I just get a guy like that Hehe The chapters were pretty short which made me want to continue reading I kept telling myself, Oh just one chapter and that turned into reading [...]

    5. Awesome end to a fun trilogy that takes the Hades Persephone myth, shakes it all up and sets it in the modern world Loved it.

    6. Getting this from Netgalley was exciting I really enjoyed the first book I had started it before and didn t get very far The second time around was the charm I loved this series and the last book was PERFECT I couldn t stop reading this Some things I figured out and somethings were a nice surprise I loved Brimm Rowan was a big let down, but what a JERK So many lovely characters The story line progressed very smartly, and at the conclusion it was left open for in the search for the Queen of the [...]

    7. A good ending to a fun series I forget how much I love Greek Mythology until I read a book or series like this one It s engaging and frankly all the prior knowledge kicks in and makes the story that much enjoyable I loved seeing the growth of the characters, especially Daphne Tell me you didn t love Shady And then at the end what happens whoa 4 stars

    8. This was a good conclusion to the series Everything worked out for the best and all the main characters were still alive at the end Sure it was a rough ride but at least they all made it Daphne was in the Underworld most of the time and Haden of course spent the book trying to get to her My only complaint was the ending could have been a little exciting However, since it was a happy ending I won t be too upset about it.

    9. This was a great ending to a great series I loved the characters in this book Their love and loyalty, their willingness to give themselves up to save the others I am going to miss spending time in their world.

    10. It was nice and I enjoyed it but it was lacking on some points On the ending especially I was expecting something darker, with fight and flare, adult we ll say But still it was a really nice closing book.

    11. It seemed like she wanted to end the series already, the ending felt like it went by fast when there could have been room for a little action and whatnot Maybe it s just me

    12. Devo proprio dirlo mi piaciuta questa trilogia, quasi meglio della prima anzi, decisamente meglio e proprio perch sono soddisfatta voglio dare 5 stelle di apprezzamento

    13. I received this eARC from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review I was in no way compensated for this review. You guys cannot believe how happy I am that this book exists When Egmont USA closed their doors, I felt sadness all around For all the authors, all the books, but what came to my mind first among all these, was Bree Despain s Into the Dark trilogy I had read The Eternity Key as an ARC and was left shrieking at its ending and then I was shrieking again when I heard th [...]

    14. I have nothing but praise for this series The ending did not disappoint It was everything I wanted and I love how these characters have grown and developed They each had their own moments to shine, and I ve grown really attached to each one I was able to predict some of the story twists, but not all There were still a lot of surprises for me, and I loved it Daphne s dad and Tobin really shined They didn t have any special powers, but they really stepped up and didn t shy away from the battle I [...]

    15. A good ending to the series It had been a while since I read the other two, so I re read my notes before starting this book Only to discover that the first couple chapters kind of rehashed the previous two books I don t know how I feel about that. The Immortal Throne had a good mix of action, humor, suspense, and love story I was fairly certain of the overall ending, but it kept me on my toes just enough to hope I was right The chapters were split mostly between Daphne and Haden with some Tobin t [...]

    16. DeSpain, Bree The Immortal Throne Into the Dark 3 , 332 pages Carolrhoda LAB Lerner , 2016 19 Language PG 4 swears, 0 f Mature Content G Biolence PG 13 torture, battle.Everyone fell for Garrick s lies and now he is the King of the Underworld and Daphne is to be his bride Haden is desperate to return to the Underworld to save Daphne, but the known way won t open again for another 6 months Whatever it takes, however, he will do it Meanwhile, Daphne isn t sitting around waiting to be rescued If she [...]

    17. I was sad this series ended I enjoyed reading about Lord Haden Daphne sacrifices herself to make sure Haden is saved, but she never imagined that they would be tricked by his lesser half brother, Garrick Daphne finds herself betrothed to Garrick and tries to figure out how to get out of the Under realm back to Haden since he has been banished to the mortal world Haden is dying and the only one that can save him is a kiss from his true love, Daphne When Garrick tries to take Daphne to look for th [...]

    18. 3.5 stars for a successful wrap up to the series I think the author did a good job of bringing everything together and tying up all the loose character lines Everything came together nicely All the characters came together in one way or another, some friends, some foes I enjoyed how this book was about the endgame and how things didn t go the way the characters planned at all Conflict and unpredictable circumstances made me want to keep reading to find out what the consequences for failures wou [...]

    19. Entertaining and endearing.Though the main characters are teenagers or act like ones anyway they were not overly annoying They had their issues and made numerous mistakes, but they also learned from them and weren t just lead by their raging hormones. Some developments were a little lame or too convinient Simon says, really and let s not talk about how it s downright dumb to torture someone who won t even remember it afterwardsBut all in all, it was a relaxing time and I even experienced anticipa [...]
